Virtual Items & Purchases Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This policy explains optional purchases on CanadaNorthGaming.com, including how billing works, delivery of virtual items, chargebacks, and refunds/cancellations for Canada users.
1) What you can buy
We may offer optional paid products such as virtual currency, credits, tokens, boosts, cosmetic items, or other digital features (“Virtual Items”). Purchases are optional and not required to access the Service unless stated at the point of purchase.
2) Pricing, taxes, and billing
- Prices are shown at checkout (or in-app) in the currency and amount displayed at the time you place the order.
- Where applicable, Canada GST will be included or disclosed at checkout in line with Canada requirements.
- If you purchase through a third-party platform (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play), that platform may process payment, issue the receipt, and apply its own billing terms.
- You are responsible for any bank, card, or platform fees charged by your provider.
3) No cash value; no withdrawals or redemption
- Virtual Items have no cash value and are not a substitute for money.
- Virtual Items cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, transferred outside the Service, or exchanged for real-world currency or value.
- Any “balance” shown is a limited licence to use Virtual Items within the Service, subject to our Terms.
4) Delivery and technical issues
- Virtual Items are usually delivered immediately after successful payment, but delivery may be delayed due to technical issues or platform processing.
- If items do not appear, first confirm the payment status/receipt, then contact us with your account details and proof of purchase. We may verify transactions before re-delivery.
5) Chargebacks and payment disputes
If a chargeback or payment reversal is filed, we may (where lawful and proportionate) suspend or restrict access while we investigate. If a chargeback is upheld or a payment is reversed, we may remove the related Virtual Items and/or adjust balances. Repeated or abusive disputes may result in account action under our Terms.
6) Refunds, cancellations, and Canada consumer rights
- Because Virtual Items are delivered digitally and can be used immediately, purchases are generally final once delivered, unless required by Canada law or the relevant platform’s refund policy.
- Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the Competition Act (to the extent they apply).
- If you purchased via a third-party platform, refund requests may need to be submitted to that platform.
- If you believe a purchase was unauthorised or made in error, contact us promptly. We may request details to investigate and may take steps to secure your account.
7) Changes to Virtual Items
We may modify, reprice, or discontinue Virtual Items or features at any time, subject to applicable law. Virtual Items are tied to your account and may be unavailable if the Service (or your account) is suspended, terminated, or discontinued.
